1986 Cascade South Africa commence manufacturing operations of Stainless Steel Pipe Repair Clamps. Cascade grew quickly to the largest manufacturer of Stainless Steel repair clamps in South Africa and increased distribution into the rest of Africa, Dubai, UK, Australia and New Zealand. Cascade expanded their range of repair clamps as demand grew with varied applications across water, gas, petrochemicals and most liquid / gas filled pipes.
1992 Manufacturing facility opened in Australia to service the growing demand for quality pipe repair clamps. These clamps were manufactured with 316 grade Stainless steel and included a high-quality gasket approved for use with drinking water and adhering to stringent Australian quality and standards. A few years later the Australian factory was consolidated with the South African factory to form one larger facility with greater capability to distribute quality products internationally.
Today Our warehouse located in Brisbane stocks a full range of products and majority of sizes. We pride ourselves on service delivery and always aim for same day dispatch. Rapid Clamps expanded the repair clamp range with BSP and Flange tapping clamps, allowing for branch repairs and expansion, while reinforcing the pipe at the junction point. This is known as Hot Tapping.
Following from the success of our tapped repair clamps, Rapid Clamps designed and patented a unique Tapping Saddle. These versatile Tapping saddles cater for a variety of pipes including less ridged pipe or swollen pipes. For more information see Products.
